Here at North Star Services, LLC we specialize in water, wind & fire damage restoration as well as mold remediation for residential and commercial properties.
We're seeking a Remediation Technician to assist the team throughout the area. If you love working with your hands or have experience in the Cable Industry, you’ll fit right in.

Institute for Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC) a plus

Customer service ability -- providing "5-star" service to our customers

Must be able to work in all types of conditions (hot, cold, wet and dusty)

Experience with Microbial / Mold Remediation, Media Blasting, Containment Construction, Structural Drying, 24-Hour Emergency Service

High School Diploma a plus
-
Must be able to work Monday through Friday and on-call hours (evenings and weekends) on rotation

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
​

Responding quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage
-
Extracting water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment
-
Crawl Space inspections & remediation
-
Identifying scope of work, measuring & sketching out all affected areas, and employing industry-standard restoration techniques
-
Performing demolition including removing damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall, etc.

Taking accurate moisture readings and properly setting up commercial drying equipment to minimize drying time

Cleaning and maintaining proprietary equipment (as needed)
